Saxophone repair prices

Free condition check

Having your saxophone looked over is completely free.
During a condition check I go over the saxophone for visible and functional faults and defects. Afterwards you get my assessment of the instrument’s condition and of what should be fixed.

Hourly rate

My hourly rate is DKK 600, with a minimum charge of DKK 300 (30 minutes).

Materials

Small materials such as cork and felt are usually included in the hourly rate.

I keep a small stock of the most common materials, pads and spare parts. If more specific parts or materials are needed, they are ordered in for the job.

Price estimates

The prices below are guidelines. You get a specific estimate after the condition check. If, during the repair itself, I come across something that significantly changes the scope of the job or the price, we agree on it before I continue.

The time required varies and is therefore given as a range. That is because no two saxophones are alike. Age, brand, condition, previous repairs and how much the instrument has been used all have a big influence on how long the work takes. A saxophone that has been looked after and played regularly is usually quicker to work on than one that has been sitting in a cupboard for a long time.
